Hello friends.Have you ever started a discussion and no one posted a response at your discussion?Well,i do.What do you feel when people don't post any response at your discussion?Share with me.Honestly, sometimes i feel dissapointed and kinda angry when people don't post any response at my discussion but then i said to myself, maybe my discussion is not that interesting. So,i am trying bit by bit to improve my discussion and hoping it will someday be in "today's top discussion".LOL.Cheers.

There is one discussion that I have started more than a month back for which I have not received a single response. And a couple for which I received just one response. I too have felt very disappointed and angry but probably the subject was not too interesting.

Hi there mayka.LOL.We are totally the same.I also felt very disappointed before.Lately, after realizing that my discussion maybe wasn't interesting enough,i let my dissapointment go.It was no use being dissapointed. It's better to do something to improve it right?

I recently posted the same discussiona dn got many responses and feedback as to why this could be happening and those answers were all pretty much the same, you can check it out. But for the most part it seem sthat one you need to add friends because friends will be sure to answer most of your discussions, also you need to select a category for your discussion because placing it under general discussion will not get as many hits. Next you need to ensure that you use a ctachy and interesting title since that is what most people tend to read and see at first glimpse. Also be sure to tag your discussion with as many tag words as possible so it will be likely to show up under a search. Either way, just know that this tends to happen from time to time and it is nothing personal. Hope this helps.

Thank you for the best response, I appreciate it. I find it difficult also, but I don't always start a discussion. When I do however, i try to think of something that I know others would have answers for through the own experience or opinions, and also something that maybe I am looking for an answer for, and maybe someone will have it. Give it time and people will answer, and just start finding more friends and they will answer your topics also.

Hey I too face the same thing.I rarely start discussions and when I do I receive 2-3 responses only.May be the topics are not that interesting.Seriously I feel jealous of the people who get many responses on their discussions.Hope I'll also start one and receive atleat 50 responses.I'll really feel happy on that day.Till then lets just wait and answer others' questions

Hi there raina.LOL.Well,we are newbies of mylot.Maybe that's why people don't give us responses that much.Ehehe.Jealousy is a good thing. It helps us be more competitive.Yup.Let's wait and answer others questions and try harder for a better discussion.Cheers.

It happens to us all at times it just depends who is posting at the time when your discussion is in the first few pages but you may find months down the track someone will pick up on one of your old discussions.

hey taqinaka You are right. I feel disappoint when no one replied my discussion but it is OK. I think If nobody is replied to my discussion it is presumed that my discussion topic is not good or the point I choose is good for others.

Hi
It happened to me also. When I start some discussions I think others should find it interesting and I won't get any response. I will eagerly wait for the response and if there is nothing then I will feel a little disappointed. May it may not be interesting to others. There should be topics which I am interested and others may not be like as much as I.

Yeah, I have a few - but, to be fair, I wouldn't comment on something that didnt interest me. However, its a bit disappointing if you start a topic about something you feel strongly about and no-one responds - espaecially when the 'whats-your-favourite-colour' type questions get loads of responses. (I'd probably go for purple at the moment but I switch allegiance frequently on that one...)

Hello deniseh. Thanks for the response.Oh!I do that all the time.I'll either go through "discussions with no response" or "new discussion".I like it when i post a response at a new discussion. It feels better then discussion that has already 15 discussion.I feel left out.LOL.Awwww.That is so sweet. Thanks!

That's happened to me a few times. Not too long ago I was the only one who didn't get any comment after giving a response to a discussion. I was skipped over. My feelings were a little hurt, but I guess I'll get over it. I just don't understand it. A while ago I posted a discussion and no one answered it for a time and I got 2 answers so I think it would be good research to find out what kind of topics get lots of responses. I hope this makes it to the top discussion for you. Take care.

I have only ever had this happen one time and it was when I first started here and started putting discussions on. I was gutted, thought it meant that no one thought I was any good at it. The discussion perhaps was not worded very well or something I do not know but I soon got over it, I just went on and did some different ones instead and they all got responses.

yes i do have some of discussions that no one responded. im quite sad and disappointed but anyway, i can't push our friends here in mylot to post a response..
what i do is post a new topic and research for other topics to catch everybody's attention.. i'm actually trying all my best to make a good topic to post...
as of this moment, im still thinking of what topic to post again. but im stock to nothing. so i opted to respond to my friend's discussions..
