We use coconut oil in cooking. Some studies said that it has some minerals related to lactic acid that promotes health. Byproducts of coconut are very popular nowadays.

Just like the other by-products of the coconut fruit (nut?), coconut oil is very healthy. We used to rely on coconut oil for anything that needs frying. However, after we tried using vegetable oil in our kitchen, I have noticed that coconut oil leaves a distinct taste on food. Though the taste is far from being disgusting, I now prefer the neutral taste of vegetable oil, it brings out the real flavors of a dish. I hope that helps. :) PinoyXP

we usually use cooking at home. its the most common oil used here in our place. but whenever i go to my grandmothers' i got to eat food cooked vegetable oil. my grandma refer using vegetable oil rather than cooking oil. but my boyfriend uses another one, sesame oil. i think to compare these three i'll prepare sesame oil. i think its more tastier and lesser grease too. if not mistaken i think its more healthier too when to compare to the other two.

It depends on what I am making really. I have olive oil and sunflower oil. I also have some butter flavored Crisco that I use when baking. I mix it half and half with butter.

I usually use olive oil or some sort of oil that has less fat in it. I think it is called enova. Less of the oil is stored in the body as fat. I dont want to add alot of calories as fat.
