Obama's ruthlessness or lack there of should not be near as scary as his lack of experience. His is a neophyte. He has demonstrated a lack of knowledge on foreign affairs and domestic issuse such as fiscal policy and immigration. You watch, he will be ruthless with the american peoples money and cozy with foreign terrorist. Just my opinion. Hope it made somebody mad.

Good point. His lack of experience is a scary thought when he is seeking the highest office in the USA. I hope people wake up and realize that before the election.

I think that Chicago is a tough town and he did what every politician does. Just as everything Bill and Hillary Clinton have done since leaving college has been aimed at getting him elected President, followed by her being elected President, everything Obama did in Chicago was aimed at increasing his chances for political success. Most politicians do the same thing.
As far as the primary election goes, I don't think he employed similar tactics. Both he and Hillary didn't give a hoot about Florida, for instance, until they realized that they needed our delegates to win and then their views on everything having to do with this state's ultimate role at the convention mattered in accordance with who was ahead and who was behind.

Your right it probably goes on a lot in elections, but I hope he will be honest and upfront with his political ambitions.

I hope so, too, because this election could be very important for Florida's future. John McCain is all for drilling off of our coast even though it won't help our gas situation and, so far, Obama is not but who knows for sure what either one of them will do once in office?
