a question about the star

i know it means popularity right, but what does its color means, i use to have a red color star now its white, what does that mean

Hi setroc! I know this post is a month old now but I would still like to response to it. The colors of the stars correspond to the numbers on it. So every number means a different color. It is just an indicator so it is easier to tell what number of your star is. I hope you are still actively rating here on mylot. A lot of people don't care about it anymore but most of us cares about it because it motivates us to post more. I am an active rater and I always rate the one who responds to my discussions. And I also rate those discussions that I respond to. I do that because I want to help my friends get a good ranking. Have a nice day!

I have read about that too in another discussion. It says that we really are paid here for participation so we must use all features that allows us to participate more. And the discussion says he earn more by doing it. So I am always using at least on emoticons in my posts.

i always use 3, except sometimes when i forgot to put one and i only realize it when the post is already submittedi dont like using emoticons really, but if it helps then ill use them

oh man i always rate, and positively too even if the answer that i got is not that good its my way of showing my appreciation for visiting my post, yup this is a month old and i know alot about stars now than when i posted this but you are all still welcome to post this might be useful to newbies who happen to find this post, thanks for the reply richiem, you know what i encourage you to use smileys too, it adds up participation points

That means if we are in busy life and in tension mood we compare it as red star and when tensions are lost we becomes cool and calm this forms white star

It means your less popular thn you were before, someone has rated you with a negitive! If you go to the search menu and tpye in star under discussions you'll find everything you need to know! I responed to this yesterday in length! Good Luck! tdemex
