What is Your Favorite Type of Dog and Why?

Just wondering if any of you dog lovers have a specific breed that you love. If so, why? I love Labradors because they are calm,loving, easy to train, and much much more. If I had to choose a guard dog,it would be a rotweiler. I had one that use to try and attack my socks when it was 7 weeks old. What are your opinions?
