I love to read. I have a goal of 50 books this year. I used to read 50 books in a summer... but now I'm working full time and going to school full time. So 50 gets to be kind of tough. I like Patricia Cornwell, Laurell k Hamilton, Sue Grafton, Lilian jackson braun, Christopher Moore, Dean Koontz...

I love to read, but my reading list varies extensively. I enjoy non-fiction (especially history and biographies) and fiction (including classics, mysteries, some vampire novels, mainstream/literary, historical fiction and even a little fantasy and SciFi). Some favorite authors include Julia Spencer-Fleming, Gregory Maguire, James Joyce, Jane Austen, and many more that don't seem to be coming to mind at the moment.

I love to read. Some of my favs are James Patterson, but I think his earlier books are better, all these new ones with other people writing I am not impressed with, Karin Slaughter, Stephen King, Alex Kava, and for guilty pleasures, Jackie Collins.

I am a great reader and generally read a couple every week. My tastes vary quite considerably and I like numerous authors. I have the entire collection of Agatha Christie novels but also read John Grisham, Tom Clancy, Bryce Courtney to name just a few.
At present I am reading a book called "Smoky Joe's Cafe" by Bryce Courtney and have only just started it today. :)

I absolutely love reading when I get the time to do so! I need to start going to the library again & taking out books to read.. I kind of miss doing it as often as I once used to. For me every time I read I feel like I am escaping from reality & just diving in to almost a fantasy world. Every time I am reading a book I tend to imagine how the characters may look by the way the author describes them. And then I am able to create an opinion on each & every character that I come across while reading. By doing this I feel like I am so connected to the characters in the book..
I'd have to say some of my favorite authors are V.C. Andrews, Steven King, Mary Downing Hahn. She wrote this amazing book called "The Wind Blows Backward." It's my absolute favorite book I've ever read.. It has such a beautiful story line I find.. I as well like Anne Rule to.. It's nice to come across someone who likes her writing just as much as I do.. Those author's are the ones I read books from the most.. But I always try to keep an open mind when it comes to others.
The books I love most though are the one's you can't put down. Those are the one's you hate to finish to soon because you just don't want the story to stop. I love that about reading some books.. I really do.
