How to get a screen shot from Paypal to Blog

I had bragged about getting a payment from one of my PTC's and was very happy about it. And then, someone here on mylot questioned my honesty and asked if I was just trying to get referrals. Now, I am HOT! How do I make a screen shot of my paypal screen to prove that I am telling the truth? I will post it on the blog so everyone knows. I guess I have to accept that there are alot of scams out there and people have been scammed so people have a right to be skeptical. It was just such a downer after being thrilled to see unexpected money in my paypal account.

Well said, Gerald. That's a very good tutorial. Just one thing to add: make sure you edit anything you don't want people to know. You may need to black out (using the pen tool) email addresses, account numbers, etc. You can black out parts of them in order to show they are there but not allow someone to spam you or such. Well done on the payment and keep up the hard work.

Thanks for commending my "tutorial" and thanks too for the additional information...I forgot to mention about that, and I think it's really important to protect privacy and confidentiality.

Hello, OneryGirl! People are getting more and more confused about it. Scamming websites are all around the Internet. It's just a normal human behaviour to doubt things. Now, if you want to take a screenshot of your proof, do this: open the Paypal website, get in the page in which you want to take the Screenshot, and press the buttong Print Screen/SysRq, located at the top right of your keyboard (probably), together with Scroll Lock and Pause Break. After you have done that, nothing will appear. Then you open Paint (Start - All the Programs - Acessories - Paint) or any other image editor program, and press Control V. A picture with your whole image at that time will appear. Then you can cut the borders and leave only the Paypal screen by using the tools. You can also use the pencil or the brush to cover the personal information. Respectfully, Munhozmib.

Hello onerygirl, It's ok to feel bad when someone questioned your honesty. It's really hard to earn extra money online and it's getting even harder with so many scam sites. I think I have four sites already that I have reached payout and up to now I still waiting for my payment. There are several people here already give you advise on how to get a screen shot on your paypal screen. I am using snagit software and it is easier to used than using prinscreen on your computer and pasting it to paintbrush. It's not a freeware though, but there are some free capturing tools. Try looking at download dot com. Good luck and have a good day!

I use a free Firefox add-on called Fireshot - I love it! You can do all the editing with the program itself - cropping, covering up personal information, adding text, etc, then just save and you're done. Of course you can use it to simply capture the whole page and then edit it in your own photo software too. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/5648
