Jason Cook returning to soaps

To all you Jason Cook fans, who was (in my opinion) the best Shawn D. Brady the show has ever had, you will be excited to learn that he'll be joining the cast of general hospital as a new doctor. And if you followed the Shelle pairing, you probably already know that Kirsten Storms (the original and best Belle Black) is already on General Hospital as Maxie. It's rumored that the two will reunite and pair up on that show.
I for one cannot wait to see them get back together. DOOL's shelle was never the same after both these great actors left. Martha did a decent job as Belle, but really it was Jason holding up the fort. And when he left and was replaced with Brandon Beemer, the quality of their pairing went down the tubes. I'm actually glad that there is no Shelle on days in the meanwhile, until they can find a better Shawn or if the original actors come back. Please share your thoughts! Have you heard, are you excited, can you wait, are you going to watch General Hospital now, or maybe you already do?

I absolutely loved Jason and Kirsten as Shelle and was so upset when they both left the show. I don't watch General Hospital but I might just start watching now just to see the 2 of them. They have such awesome chemistry together. This is great! :)

Yay, another Shelle fan! I was so sad when first KS left and then JC left dool. I used to watch General Hospital years ago, for only a year or two then stopped. However, in the last month I started up again because I wanted to get caught up on storylines before JC arrives! I only follow a couple storylines, mainly the KS's Maxie storyline and one other. I agree, Kirsten and Jason's chemistry was so sizzling. I really hope they write the two together again. :)

Just so you know, Jason Cook's character has already been introduced on GH as a new doctor with a little bit of an attitude. I love it! He was introduced by running into Maxie and crushing her PDA and exchanging snarky remarks with her. Heh! They have such great chemistry.

I think that's the last time I watched GH as well - I was following the Lucky/Liz storyline. All soaps are a little confusing to get into at first, but it usually only takes one storyline for me to get hooked and then I start getting interested in other storylines too.
