Yeah i need to lose about 40. I seem to always make it to 10 and then I feel better and look better so I just quit within 3mths it is back and for some reason I stay at the same weight no matter what i eat or do. It is like I am stuck.

I'm about 200 over pounds (94 kg) last time I weighed myself and its reached a stage where I have to wear my shirts tucked out whenever I go out. My tummy has sort of taken to the portions of a bouncy ball, so much so that I tell one of my fatest friends that we should play at having belly fights.
However, I somehow seem unable to settle down into a lifestyle where I would go to the gym and eat more healthily and probably get more sleep, though I admit that money has been a little on the tight side and I've been eating alot less than I usually do, which is a darn good thing!

I am a thin woman but my husband is heavy. It does not bother me. It does bother him but he refuses to take any action to lose weight. There is always a mess in the morning to clean up after he has eaten in the night. he refuses to cut down on his portions are to walk . I have given up on trying to help him lose weight. I figure if he really wanted to he would try.

Yes, It's hard to get motivated and make a plan and change everything you do to lose weight.
It will take a lot of meal planning and time for excercize.
I don't seem to have any time at all.
Er... Um...Well...I mean other than late at night when I'm Mylotting!

I could stand to lose ten pounds. I would feel better because I have some arthritis in my hip and I would have more energy but it's hard to get started again. I lost weight about 7 years ago on a low carb/high protein diet with a bit of exercise added and, let me tell you, watching the weight come off was a great feeling. I liked the low carb diet because it didn't leave me feeling like I was still hungry and I had to carb up once a week so cheating never felt like cheating. Best of all, knowing tht I could have junk once a week gave me the freedom to choose to carb up with good carbs more often which aided in my weight loss.
Getting started is the hardest part. Investigate different diets and find the one that works best for you, then come up with a plan and shop for what you need. Flavored sugar free bottled water was a life saver for me!

i have been overweight for over a year now and i always keep on saying that i want to lose weight. however, after a year later i still have that weight and i am really doing nothing about it. i am just so inconsistent, i would do some exercises sometimes. i would even try to lessen my food intake. but somehow, after a few days i will get back to my old habits. it's really hard to control one's self. a combination of discipline and dedication is really needed.
