You're just like my girlfriend. Worst, there were some occasions when she did not at all. She looked good and beautiful and not frail. I was disturbed by what she were doing, that's why I always remind her of her food. I am afraid for her health; I care for her, I don't want her to get sick. I tell her sometime to eat more. It's good that she follows me.

i gained alot of weight when i was pregnant when i had my youngest to the point the dr put me on an diet. but now i went from from 150 to 127. lean cuisine baby. now im just tring to tighten up my belly and butt and body to look lil bit better. but if she is doing it on purpose that not good. im used to eating once a day.
but my husband some of you also made a good point i do eat lot of mexican food which has a lot of spice in it that are good for you and being on the constant run. i cook alot i watch the food net work show. sometime my husband got to tell me to eat too but he realized i ahve been doing this for year so imm used to it so he really doesn't harp on me about it, only when i complain saying im hungry. lol

I'm the same way. I'm constantly on the move
caring for my family and only eat once a day.
I will have a piece of bread or baked potato
as a second meal.
But that's rare.
The food goes for everyone else.
My spouse eats at least two to three good sized meals
and my preschooler eats three to five smaller meals.
I just don't ever feel like eating lots.
I'm rarely sick either.
Perhaps it's the constant motion that
keeps us healthy.
Pioneer women were constantly moving
and on their feet caring for home and garden or farm.
So, it's not a bad thing.
What is bad is over eating and inactivity.
That's a killer and degenerates the body.
So you're really lucky!
Consider yourself blessed.

Hi aztcgirl,
I guess it depends on what you actually eat compared to all the other people that you are talking about.
If you chug down 3 gallons of orange juice, 14 cabbages and half a dozen fried chickens for breakfast every couple of days, then that might be enough to get by without suffering dietary deficiencies.
If you ate a 5 pound bag of jelly babies each night while watching the Letterman Show, again you could be sure of receiving all the essential food groups in sufficient quantities (because jelly babies are just so damn good!).
Otherwise, I'd be suspicious that you're a Martian, escaped from a crashed flying saucer in Area 51 over in Nevada. And your sunnies, hiding your evil black eyes in your photograph, only adds weight to that suspicion!!!

It depends on your Metabolism rate. For example, if you're habituated to have less food daily since years, your digestive system tends to keep a healthy routine on that tendency. Eventually you get habituated to it. When you take less/more food than your regular basis, it may be hard for your digestive system to do the task correctly. So it depends.
