This is my third child and I've never had a jumparoo - someone with a 9 month old recommended it and said her daughter loved it. My son is very active and although he can sit up and roll and scoot a little bit, he loves to be hopped up and down on our laps. We would love it if he could sit in this thing and entertain himself a little bit. Pros and cons? Do you have one for your child? Is it safe and would you recommend it?

Omg....Yes buy it. My son loved it and always wanted to be in. He loved it so much he would jump him self to sleep. It is one of the best toys for kids. It also makes there legs strong so when they are ready to walk there legs will be strong.I never had one with my other 2 kids and my friend gave me hers and I tryed. It helps out alot because it kept him busy so I could clean around the house. I give it a 10 out of a 10 rating.
Happy mylotting

I don't know what the one I had for my kids was called, but it looked like a little airplane with a propelar on the front. Both of my boys practically lived in theirs.. They loved it. They had a blast in it. I think around 6 months was when I put my boys in it.

I have one for my son and I also used it for my daughter, it keeps them perfectly safe and they love it. I must admit for the first thew time you use it you kind of stand over them because you are worried however you learn to see that this is perfectly safe and then get further away from them with every day that goes by.
My sun gets so tiered in it and gets very upset when he is not in it and it has been a god send as I have managed to get so much done in the time he is playing in it. You must do what you feel safe and happy doing though as it is your child and no one can tell you what is right and wrong.

I have one for my son, he absolutely loves it, and as far as i can see as long as you read the instructions it is a very safe playtoy! not to mention all the sounds and sight on many of them. Oh and if you want try an exercauser. My son uses one at his daycare and loves it!
