Your Relationship - how old is it?

I met my husband in 2003. We had our son at the end of 2004, he proposed in 2005. We had our daughter in July of 2006 and was married 2007, just right before our daughters 1st birthday. Its been a rough couple of years, but its getting better and we love eachother dearly.

My husband and I met in 1987 on a blind date--sort of. I lost a bet and had to go out with him. Long story but a funny one! We've been together ever since that first date. We had our son in July 1988. Got married in February 1989. Had our daughter in December of 1990. Not everyday have been fluffy clouds & puppy dogs but neither one of us can imagine it without the other. Every relationship takes give & take as well as good days and bad. It's part of the package. And I'm very happy with my package!!! Still!!!

Six months from the time we got together until we were married. We had, however, known each other for many years and had dated in high school. We will be married 24 years in December. We dated in high school and off and on for a year or so after that. We then went our separate ways and both married other people. We both divorced and then ran into each other again in our home town - got back together and married six months later.

I have been with my partner for just over three years we got engaged about two and a half years ago. We are yet to get married as he is still waiting on a divorce, but we feel we have plenty of time as we want to spend the rest of our lives together. We met through the internet. We chatted for about four months before he asked me out. He moved down from Scotland to England to live with me and my four children. That was after just two weeks we just knew it was right. We then went on to have a son together and could not be happier.

i juzt got married last year, june 12 07,,, we celebrated our 1st aniversary last month and everythings doing fine., we are bf nd gf for 3 years before we got engaged and married... life is now more wonderfull coz we had each other by our side. and we already have our little treasure. our baby girl.... i am now very happy coz i got them both

I met Steve in a friends wedding on february of 2000.I got pregnant in august some we move in together.That first year was horrible we fight for everything, he was never at home so i was always alone. Then in 2003 I got pregnant again. Along the relationship we've been separate 5 times but at this moment the relation is very strong. I gave him a last chance to change a year ago and he's making it. We never married and i am not planning it i thing if we get married things are not gonna work so i preffer to be like this. It is not easy but it can work if you are so in love like me.Its been 8 years and my love for him is growing every single day.

I met my wife on a Union Castle mail ship going from the UK to South Africa in 1968. I then courted her in Johannesburg (not lived together - heaven forbid!! Not the done thing in those days!) and then engaged for a year till we were married in 1970. We loved it in Africa in those days and our children were born in Rhodesia, but pleased we left when we did and came back to the UK. So 38 years on we are still together and still good friends and lovers.

I met my husband when I was 15 years old, we started dating when I was 16. By the time I was 18 we had our first baby. By the time I was 22 I was pregnant for the fourth time, we finally got married while pregnant the fourth time (we have 3 kids, lost one). So we have been married for ten years and we are doing great, the kids are all growing up too fast and my husband and I love the fact that we won't be old when they are all grown up, and we will still have plenty of life left to live and enjoy together without hauling all the kiddies around with us. =) We will both be 42 years old when our youngest turns 18..woo whooo freee time baby!! lol Not that I want to rush them to grow up but it will be a different and refreshing time in our life...I am sure...but for now, we are enjoying our kiddies and the great (and not so great) moments we have with them.

Right now I am not in a relationship.....but it sounds like you had a wonderful courtship and wedding and now a lovely life together! Good for you!

I am not married i met my love 2 years before in internet. I never thought that i will fall in love with the person about whom i dont know any thing .But today i am the most happiest person in this world and waiting for the day when we get married..

My relationship is over 13 years old. Of that we are coming up on 7 year married anniversary. We have 1 beautiful daughter. And one on the way. For the most part we are very happy. I am a lucky person.

I have been with my husband for 6 years before we got married. But those six years was an on and off relationship. Then we agreed that we were meant for each other. On our sixth year we were engaged. I have been married to a wonderful man for 10 years now and going 11th this September.

I would love to move to Europe but with all the family in the US I just dont think I could do it and both of our jobs are here. Anyway, Ive been with my boyfriend for about 11 years... Im 27 and hes 30... we did alot of growing up together and we still work on our relationship, he is hands down my best friend! All of our friends are getting married so we have talked about it and people are ALWAYS asking me when were getting married... I dont want to get married bc everyone says its time and feel pressured. When we are finacially ready and time permits were in! If people learned to take their time with getting married maybe the divorce rate wouldnt be soooo high!

I met my husband the end of June 1998 so in about a week or so, I have known him for 10 yrs. About a week later right after the 4th of July, we started dating, and then 7 1/2 months later, we got married, and have been married now for almost 9 1/2 yrs. We are still very Happy today, and definately, more in Love today then we were back then.

I've been married to the Same woman for 53 years next October. Its been like two life terms, with no time off for good behaviour! (I'm exagerating now) Actually it's been a good relationship. We have 4 good boys all grown, and 4 good Grand Kids growing.We are happy,healthy, and enjoying the Good Life!

I met my husband in October of 1989 when I went to work at the Wendy's he was currently working at. I was 16 years old and he was 17. In August of the next year I moved into the house with him and his parents because things weren't going well at my house. We got engaged a few months later, and then married in November of 1990. We have been married for almost 18 years now.

i am not yet engaged but have been with my boyfriend for 5 years now. i have known him for about 10 years though :) we are very happy, of course there are occasional fights but nothing major. hopefully we will get married in the future too.

My first sight with my girl was two yeas ago,we knew each from the internet.I didn't know how she was feeling with me the monent she saw ,but i knew that she was just the rigth girl for me ,and I would never lether go away from me.Thess years ,i tried my best to satisfy her,and we lived a happy life.
