I started keeping a journal for my daughter before she was a year old. Thinking about keeping one for the new baby. Why do you keep one? Are you thinking about starting one?

I used to along time ago but after I married I stopped and just never picked it back up. The only journeling I do now is with my diet by writing the foods that I eat so I can keep track and on track. It be cool to do a video journel.

Hello dear ersmommy. It is a long long time since I stopped keeping a diary. To be exact, it was after my marriage that I gave it up. But we have taken a lot of photos for our son since he was born. All of these photos are very good memory to us...

I keep a diary for every year. The main purpose is to keep notes and records of things I saw, people I met, appointments I made on my business trips. I travel a lot overseas. So, not to miss or forget the things that were discussed at the business meetings, I need to keep my diary.

I always used to keep a journal however I do not any more and it is more because I learnt that it never got me any where and I would always be so negative in it. I was so sad to read back on it all the time and just decided that it was no longer worth keeping it if I was just going to be so negative. I think journals are a great idea if you can use them in the right way, sometimes they can offend others if they get in the wrong hands so if you keep one dont forget to hide it.

I keep a journal because it helps me keep my thoughts in order and relieve stress. I write down 5 things I am grateful for ever day. I guess it is just a way to keep myself in check. I feel more relaxed when I am done. Sometime it fun to just pour your heart out in there.
