Breadmakers

I'm thinking about buying a breadmaker as we get through so much of the stuff. I had one before (inherited) but it was pretty useless at baking the dough so I ended up chucking it out although it was fine at mixing. Is this the case for all of them? Anyone got any brand recommendations?

Breadmaker - Cuisinart Breadmaker
We go through alot of bread ourselves. And I figured it would be best to go and get a breadmaker to make our own. It's alot cheaper and I love fresh homemade bread. We have a Cuisinart Breadmaker that is stainless steal. I love it and we have had it for quite sometime now and it still works great. We use it quite often as well. So it is getting alot of wear and tear.

I do not like the bread baked in the breadmaker. I prefer to mix it in the breadmaker and bake it in the oven. To me, it has a better flavor. I love the convenience of mixing it in the breadmaker. I have a Sunbeam breadmaker. I think I have had it for 5 or 6 years.
