I prefer Love marriage as we can understand the nature of our partner before marriage. In arranged marriage, it is luck to have a partner with our choice. What do you think?

Love marriage in our culture does not have the lodivity as arrange marriages in other culture. People are caught up on looks, job status and the whole shibang.Arrange marriage there are no preconcieve notion, you'll learn to love the person and the respecxt will come eventually.

Since I live in the U.S. where arrange marriages are not the norm I prefer to let people choose their own partners. I do agree that many couples who had their marriages arranged grew close over the years but it just seems to me that a decision as important as who you should spend your life with should be made by the two people involved.

I think marriage should be where you love somebody and want to get married. I dont think being pushed into a marriage is any good..if you dont love the person then i thiink it will just be fights between you both.

I believe a marriage should be based on love. I dont agree with arranged marriages (im sorry if i offend anyone by saying that). I used to work with a sekh who was due to get married through an arrange marriage but she had already fell in love with someelse that her parents didnt know about. In the end she tried to convince herself that she wanted to get married but deep down we all knew she never, in the end she started to steal from the shop where we worked and everyone was convinced she was stealing the money so she could run away and get away from it all.
She got married in the end and now lives with his parents in a city away from her family and she now has two kids and im sure there will be many more on the way. Wether or not she has eventually fell in love with the person her parents arranged for her to marry i dont know, but i cant think of anything worse than, not just living with someone you dont want to but actually being forced to marry then.
Thats my opinion and like i said before, i am sorry if i have offened anyone.
