PTC , PTR disscusions are being removed from mylot for no good reason

It is against the rules to use MyLot to promote other sites. So I suppose that by saying that a certain site pays and giving the name of the site that is promoting it and is cause for deletion (I learn the hard way every time.

I have noticed this happening a lot recently, and what annoys me is that someone asks a reasonable question regarding these sites and it might have only one response, so I decide to respond and by the time it takes for me to type a response and get to adding a tag, it then informs me that this discussion has been withdrawn. Why ? I can understand the rule about posting links, and I couldn't agree more. If some one wants to view a link then refer them to your profile then no harm is being done. If somebody answers and puts in Sites and referrals, then surely it would be better just to remove that post instead of the whole thread.

Mine got removed too. Lesson learned.
