I think that Dairy Queen has the best ice cream around. However, a friend of mine has said that Baskin Robbins is a lot better. Do you have a local place that serves great ice cream or do you go to Dairy Queen? Also, what kind of ice cream do you usually get?

I like how Dairy Queen tastes, but my body has a bad reaction to it. I like Baskin Robbins, but they are a bit pricey, but I love their sugar free mint chocolate chip, and Rocky Road. We also have a sit down restaurant called Colonial that has a lot of different ice cream creations.

Sorry to hear that you can't eat DQ ice cream. I like chocolate ice cream quite a bit but I don't like it with mint. I like to go into restuarants that have some ice cream. It is a nice dessert in the summer.

Dairy Queen has the best soft serve vanilla icea cream and I love to add sprinkles .
My favorite shop would have to be cold stone they have everything and many unique flavors and toppings . The birthday cake is great and so is cheesecake which is a favorite of mine.

Cheesecake ice cream sounds great to me! I think that I will have to go to Cold Stone Creamery soon and get some ice cream! I do think that DQ has the best soft serve ice cream though.

I love Dairy Queen, but I really like Rite Aid's Thrifty Ice Cream the best overall, I think. That's the place I go the most often because they are cheap and give me a lot of ice cream for the price. Sam's Club has got a good vanilla ice cream that is also the vanilla ice cream used in Eskimo Pie. Cold Stone is pretty good, but expensive. I don't really like Baskin Robin or Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream all that much.

That is a store brand I assume. I am sure that there are several brands of ice cream that people like to buy. I usually buy what is on sale. I don't care for Ben and Jerry's ice cream either. I do like Edy's ice cream though.

My daughter loves those McFlurries. Dairy Queen has a similar thing and it is a Blizzard. I like those better. I am not a big fan of McDonald's ice cream. IF you ever get a chance to go to Dairy Queen, then you should try it.

I never liked the McFlurries because I would always get the M & M flavor because it's my favorite candy. But, I went and tried the Oreo Cookie one and I really liked it. It was like eating cookies with real cream.

I also love Dairy Queen. But here in our country, we patronize Selecta Ice Cream or Magnolia Ice cream. There are both delicious supplier and brand of ice cream like Dairy Queen.

We have a dairy Queen in my area but I don't go there to often. They have very good ice cream but I really like the ice cream from Cold stone creamery. Last time I went there I got cake batter ice cream with brownie chuncks in it. It was soooo good.

Well, if we are keeping score that is two points for Cold Stone Creamery. I guess I will have to try it sometime soon.

My vote is Brusters. It's the creamiest ever and my fave is cotton candy explosion!

We don't have a Dairy Queen near us only Baskin Robbins and Cold Stone Creamery. I like Cold Stone because they sell my favorite cheesecake factory :)

That sounds great! There is a Cold Stone Creamery close to us but I have not been there yet. I might have to try it and see if I like it too. I love cheesecake so I bet that I would like that flavor. Thanks for the idea!

Dairy Queen is by far my favorite ice cream and our Dairy Queen wnet out of business here. I was so disappointed. The nearest one now is over 30 miles away, so of course that's too far to drive for an ice cream cone. My favorite flavor is vanilla. And I don't like Baskin Robins or any of the hard ice creams. I like soft serve ice cream. So now I just stick to homemade ice cream which is delicious.

Sorry to hear that DQ went out of business. I like soft serve better too. However, I sure do miss having the homemade ice cream that my grandpa used to make. It was so good!

Well, that is two votes for McDonald's ice cream too. I like their strawberry sundaes but I don't care much for just the ice cream from there. I am not sure if they use real cream or not.

I think Dairy Queen has great light and fluffy icecream that has just enough flavor for you to eat a lot and not feel overwhelmed. Places like Baskin and Robins and Coldstone have really good thick icream with strong flavor but in turn, having too much can feel like too much ya kno? It really depends on what you're in the mood for. The best icecream I've ever had was during that time I spent in Romania. All of the icecream I had there was fresh with no preservatives and you could eat their little scoops everyday without gaining weight. BEST ICECREAM EVER
