$ex vs. Companionship

As we get older we think differently than we did at a younger age. After the age of...say... 50, do you think more single people think more about finding a 'companion' rather than looking for a $exual partner? I think that as we get older we are looking more for someone to spend our life with rather than someone to have $ex with. Yeah, $ex is an (very) important part of any relationship, but I think it less important than having someone to share the other parts of our life with. How do you feel about it?

I guess you are right in there. We mature and we look at life differently as we progress to be older. I guess the reasons behind is our physical is deiiferent already than it was 20-30 years ago.
