I did not quite get some of what you're asking. But I'll answer those I understood anyway. Yes. It is better to love and lost, than have never loved at all. It's better that you have experienced loving someone [even if it gave you a heartache in the end] than dwelling on the what ifs. What if I loved him/her? What if I did not? What if.... You will only know the answer if you did it. Let love find you. And if it does, be careful with it. take care of it. Nurture it. And when time comes it wants to let go, let it go. When it comes back to you, it's meant to be.

Dear avidwhit, love cannot be found by anybody, its a feeling from the heart,it just happens. Its a feeling one gets towards a particular person. When you get acquainted to particular person you might like him or her, its love only, right? When i see my usual friends responding to my posts, i'll just start liking them.Even i will respond to them with care. I love all my friends on mylot, but am so sorry i cannot respond to all of them because of enough time. Happy Mylotting!

I think that's true. It's such a nice feeling to love and be loved at the same time. For me, even if you're tired of waiting and you just do the initiative to search for that person, if he's not meant for you, then that's it.

I find that yes it is better to have the experience of love and to lose it than never to experience that feeling at all. Love is a grand adventure and it's what you make of it but when you have love you see all the possibilities that you have not seen before. It is truly amazing. I think that when you actively look for love sometimes you find it and sometimes you don't it just depends but I will say that it works both ways sometimes we find the best fits when we are looking .. Being male of female has no bearing on whether to look or wait, the only thing that has bearing on that is whether or not your outgoing or shy. So look for love or don't but when you find it you'll be able to better judge the Tis better to have loved and lost, than to have never of loved at all. Take care and have a nice one. Well sometimes waiting for love isn't really good because most of the time we don't realize that love is already there waiting for us to grab that chance. Personally I believe that love is a battlefield and we shouldn't be afraid to get some scars.

It is better to have lved and lost than never to have loved at all. People always tell me that you cant miss what you never had. But that it wrong. For someone who has never had the opportunity to fall in love, do long for it and wish it even if they never experienced it. For those who have loved and lost, it hurts for a long time but you always have wonderful memories. I am a firm believer that love will find you when you least expect it.

I think when you look for love you get the wrong person. You try to hard and they are not the one. If you don't look you will find love right before your eyes. True unconditional love.

Yes, there is truth to the old saying. Without love, life becomes very hard indeed. When you lose that love, for whatever reason, you are left with a bounty of memories that will give you the strength to move on and fall in love all over again. Truthfully, I do not think it matters if you are a male or a female when it comes to the question of looking. It depends on where you are in life. Are you ready for love? Are you ready for a serious relationship? For me, I let love find me. It was a match made in heaven, and I will never regret the time that I used for finding myself, figuring out what I wanted and needed, before allowing myself to fall in love with that oh so special man.
