internet explorer not working.

two days before my internet explorer was all right. but i decided to download some files from rapidshare and it is where all the trouble started. my internet explorer gets closed, the program terminates saying that it has encountered a problem. please help me out how to fix this problem.

I would start by doing a scan of your hard drive to make sure there isn't a bug or some adware/syware there that is affecting Internet Explorer. A lot of sites like rapidshare are famous for giving you "something extra".

You are right about sites giving adware. But rapidshare doesn't give you adware. Its the file you download that already have adware installed. So never say rapidshare gives you viruses.

actually i am a bit new to downloading from rapidshare. probably the adware i downloaded is the root of all troubles. i am trying to fix it by doing a virus scan.

Try Firefox, Opera, Netscape, Crazy Browser or Maxthon2. All work better that IE.

yes, presently i am doing all my browsing over mozilla firefox. but the nearness i had with working on IE is missing.

we experience the same problem to our internet explorer. i guess something wrong with the site and the bugs that make us delayed. Try the site of mozila, hope it can help you too.

yes i am trying mozila at the moment. it appears to be a good one. let me see if some virus scan would help me.
