Good and Bad For My Dad

The chemo is working! ! ! The chemo has messed up his kidney's he has to have another surgery He is having a stent put in Tuesday (postponed from Monday which I am thankful because that is his b-day and that is a h*l* of a way to spend a b-day) Ironic one of his brothers has decided we need a family reunion on the 28th in honor of my dad's b-day. I have not seen that side of my family since I was 14 except for one Uncle when I was 16 briefly for a few minutes, that same Uncle has seen my 2 kids briefly (except for a cousin who saw my youngest 2 years ago during a visit my brother decided would be appropiate after my mother, daughter and Justin had just returned from a friend's of ours funeral) . Let's just say in some ways I wanna just say "look at me" and believe you me I do not fit in their "family catagory" and apparently neither does one of my cousins according to their standards But I am me so they can take it or leave it as it is. I will do this for my dad and my mom will do it because Justin says he is going to and my girls will becasuse they don't have a choice Heaven help us all when our worlds colide !
