At the Hospital

Well I thought I would tell you today of my Day at the Hospital as yesterday Gissi told me by waking Darkwing up and she caught me on here before I could put the Discussion in, boy was I in trouble I arrived at 7.30am, waited till 7.45 before someone came and showed me to the bed, then all the boring Paperwork had to be done. At 9am the Anaesthetist arrived, she asked me more Questions, I don't know how many times I repeated myself, I told her that I suffer with Panic attacks, claustrophobia and that I was scared specially as I had an Infection on my Lungs. She then said not to worry they will be looking out for it all, I asked her what time I was going down, she told me 5pm, I went straight into panic and told her there was no way I could stay there till then waiting to go down, she tried to calm me, but no success, she was checking my Lungs and said I had to calm down as my Heart rate was to fast, I told I was trying but I can't, she sent the Nurse in to take my Blood pressure and that, well the Blood pressure had shut up and my Oxygen level was really down, so she told me they where giving me something that would knock me out, yeah right, well the next thing I remember is a bloke shouting at the Nurse and I was coughing like mad and could not breathe, the bloke who was shouting was the Warden who had come to take me down, he had a go at the Nurse who said she had been a bit busy and he told her not busy enough to let someone cough themselves to Death, the Lady in the next bed had said I had been coughing like that for while and she had been concerned and as she decided to call for the Nurse the Guy had come in, he held and squirted the Inhaler for me and it calmed down. Of course I realised then where I was going and he was talking to me and telling me that I will be ok, that nothing will happen to me and if I have a fit like that again there will be Doctors and Nurses there to take action, he also had me laughing on the way down, he stayed until they took me into the room where they would have to give me my Anaesthetic, the Blood pressure had come down bt my Oxygen was in a bad way, so they had to put the Mask on me and wait till it went up, all I heard then was right it is up that was it and that was at 11.45am I woke up hitting round me and nearly smacked this Guy on the Nose, it turns out he was the Nurse, I started to cry, he asked why I was crying and I told him, that I didn't mean to hit I am so sorry. He laughed and said, well you did not aim well enough and you missed me, do not worry about it I have had worse, I still felt awful though I look at the clock and it is 13.50pm, I then looked at the Nurse and asked him if I was awake, he said yes, I then asked, I mean am I awake on earth, he laughed and said yes you are, we didn't want you to go to the Angels yet, I said that was so sweet that they would have sent me to the Angels and not the Devil lol, he said, no you look to nice a Lady to go to the Devil. He explained that they would now take to the word but the Oxygen had to stay on as my Oxygen has to go up a lot I got to the Ward and I have to admit I was well looked after At 5pm I wanted to go outside and asked the Nurse she asked if I was fit enough and I said I felt, another Patient was going out and he said he will keep an eye on me, I sat outside for half an hour and enjoyed the Weather At 9pm I wanted to sleep, well if anyone ever says to me again that Women talk more then Men I will disagree, the Men where talking or should I say shouting on their ward opposite my room, I was getting agitated so I decided to go outside and hoped they would have shut up by the time I got back, I sat outside for about an hour, then went back and nearly got myself lost going back on the Ward, Mummymo who I was on the Phone to would not let me get of the Phone till she knew I was back on the ward safe lol But hey bliss, the Men had gone to sleep, I got settled in my bed which took ages, and just as I am relaxing THEY START TO SNORE ALL 6 OF THEM Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I then drop of again half an hour later, someone slammed the door, then someone dropped a Tray and just as it went quiet and I was going the Nurse comes in Gabs we have to take your Blood pressure and Oxygen and this was every hour, at 5.30am I gave up and stayed awake I was told that I was aloud to go home at 11.30 (after I begged them to let me go earlier then the afternoon) and I was so glad Before I left the Sister told me that I had been one of their nicest and best Patients in ages lol How sweet was that of her I am still not able to be omn here long so please bear with me, I have now a severe Lung infection and coughing up Blood, the Nurse came yesterday and said not to worry as that could be from the Tube they had down me My Oxygen is still not normal to what it normally is but I suppose it will all take time Thank you to you all again for being here for me you all do not know how much you have helped me over the last few Months Oh and I do not normally make a habit of smacking People either Poor Guy
