Should she insist on or give up her boyfriend?

Last week, one of my friends called me she cann't pass the unexpected blow,she was too weak to face the reality. her boyfriend was found terrible disease, he got hipbone disease,and the hipbone could only be used for nearly ten years, after that, he need to change a arrificial ones.that means he will walk cripled in the following days.
Both of my friend and her boyfiend are miserable of this, importantly, her parents stronly opposed her to be married with him. my friend is paradoxical. then what will she do?

I can't make decision for that poor girl.Maybe leave that boy can bring her a better life in the future.But if I had to face the similar situation ,I won't give up my girlfriend.I can't run counter to the commitment of her and we must work together to face all the difficulties in the life.That's just the power of love,nothing can detach us.I will regret one day if I had gave up my most precious thing of my life.

Deep in my heart, I really agree with you, boyfriend needs love and suport especially under this situation. On the other hand, if we are her parent, what will we care?
