I think money matters allot. Being broke is a highly overrated experience and no matter what you do, you need to pay bills. Unfortunately the things we need to do to survive usually tend to cost quite a bit of money.
However, Money is not the be all and end all of life. I mean, I would rather have peace of mind than have untold billions. Money can merely rent happiness rather than buy it.

money is very important nowadays. you can't get anything without money. if you're very very sick you can't get medicine. people don't just give it to you unfortunately and then you die... of course money is important to get by, to try to live longer, to have a better life, maybe even see the world.

Money does not mean everything. We need money and enough of it to lead a good and healthy life. But there are thing much more valuable than money. Relations, love, morality, ethics etc weigh much high in my opinion. Offcource money is also important but you can not buy anything and everything with money.

ya i can tell you that money matters for some person atleast for me.The power of money is huge you can not understand it if you are running to work for money and forgetting your health and even yourself.
There are some person you will find in your life who has huge bank balance but of no use because they don't know the power of money at the same time there are many people in this world who don't work for money whereas his huge money works for him and after all he has huge money with him so he can enjoy his life well and make his next generation secure.
If you consider some personality who started making money they were just running behind money but when they realised the power of money now they are on the top of the world.
