I updated to FireFox 3 the day it was released. I didn't any problem with it, until a few hours later when I went to YouTube, I believe, and there was some plug in I couldn't run. I just reinstalled FireFox and it worked properly. Have you tried reinstalling FireFox? I mean they did work on it for about two years and it I doubt thre's a bug on it. :-p

I did have a problem with YouTube and FF3 yesterday, it keeps on asking for the plugin when I already did the install. I found out the the problem was with my NoScript, I just allowed all script needed by the site and it works fine, the video loads faster than FF2.

i have no problem with firefox3. i also have avg 8 free on my system.
Which tool bars are you talking about?
I have no tool bars of avg in firefox .

According AVG forum site the search link scan don't work yet with Firefox 3.0. They are still working on the update which will be included probably by way of AVG update. This is a proof that Firefox has really updated it security features. So until that time we'll just have to wait.
