there are now about 6 billion people on the planet, and it's calculated that by 2025 there will be 8 billion of us.
and i suppose if nothing changes it will keep going up.
how many people do you think the planed can sustain?
Aldous Huxley talked about this problem more than 50 years ago, in his "brave new world revisited".m has anyone read it? what do you think of it?

The earth is great at taking care of itself. If it gets to the point that there are more people (or anything else) than it can sustain, there will be some kind of natural disaster, disease or something else to restore balance.

I believe that the earth will sustain itself until Jesus comes back for us. He knows what he is doing so I would not worry to much about it.

wow, that is actually something that I had not given much thought to, but is a very good question. When you think about it, it seems like though the population will increase there will still be deaths etc, that kind of counter balance everything. however if we continue to take from the land like we are doing there is no telling what will happen.Great discussion topic!!

To help the earth sustain more people, I guess I will try to lose weight now.
