Baby without marriage

I don't think that nowadays there is really a problem with that. There are too many single parents and kids out of wedlock for anybody to really make a fuss about it anymore. The only thing I have observed is that some kids miss the male figure in their life, especially boys. Some moms just aren't good at the boy stuff to fill the gap. Now as far as having a child from a friend. While there originally may have even been a commitment of the 'friend' to be around, don't count on it. I have also seen some broken hearts because of this. The mother thought that a friend with benefits situation will turn into a real relationship once a child is there. Doesn't always work out that way. I know, my BIL is one of those who chickened out, twice!
