I used to write everyday in a diary. I started when I was like 10 years old. I wrote for a few days and then forgot about it. After a year or so, I wrote again for a few days and forgot it again. This went of for about 6 years. Everytime I read something form that diary now I feel great sensations and even laugh out loud of all the stupid things I wrote and of wonderful, simple things that happened in my life that I had forgotten about. I think a diary is a great place to store our feelings and memories.
Does anyone keep a diary? Do you read it over after some month or years? How do you feel when you read about your past?

I am 24 and I still keep a diary. I don't write in it every day as I just don't have time for that. I have 3 kids and a husband need I say more lol. Anyway I try to write in it at least once a week. I like to write about the week what and how the kids are doing, my marriage, and other little tid bits of whats going on in life. I have kept a diary for many years. I do not ever remember not having one. I have a box in my attic of all that old stuff. The one I have now I have had for a long time. It has a lot of paper lol. Do I ever read them? Yes I guess so. I mean not often but every once in a while I will look at the OLD ones.

It's great that you can keep a diary and write every week. I think I stopped writting because I didn't have time anymore when I got into high school and then college. I think a diary is a great way to get relax and get rid of your anger and bad feelings. It's also a great way to write some good stuff too. Keep writting!

Since I was in puberty. I bought one at Woolworth(well my mom's did)and to this day, I keep one. I've had some good memories and some interesting ones and some not so good ones. So I am one who can say YES to that.

Used to write in my diary during my schooldays...when I started college, I was too lazy. I've burned everyone of my old diaries, so I'm not able to refer to them for old memories (lucky you!)
Now, my handwriting is so bad, I can't even decipher it myself - so I'm trying to key into the PC, but again, I'm so out of touch with writing a diary, that I've skip months of entry.
