I heard from so many friends and colleagues that they don't like reading online. for me, it's rather practical and most of the time, there are so many novels free online. don't get me, wrong, i love holding a book in my hands too but over the years, i developed a certain liking to e-books and reading online. how about you?

While I'd rather read an actual book, I'm currently working in another country where English books are a rarity. A bookworm like me can't survive without reading so I have to resort to reading online or rifling through my collection of e-books. It's not the best arrangement, but it's better than nothing.

I agree with the practicality of reading online. There is no much to pay for that reading material and the like. However, personally, I don't like reading online for several reasons. First, I get easily tired if I read things infront of the pc. My eyes get irritated. I can't be in the best reading position. Second, I can't go to places where I can be with nature. If I use e-books I'm just stuck up in one place, one room--so boring. Third, it consumes electricity. Electricity is expensive now. Fourth, information could be wrong in the internet. As much as I want to be practical, but I guess if you weigh these two, I can say that it is better to read a book and not an e-book. Just my opinion. :)

Well, as for me, I sometimes do read over the internet for as long as its interesting but honestly I'm not that kind of a read lover. But my wife does read alot over the internet especially when it comes to her favorite sites where one time, she reads about her anime series... I think it was Inuyasha... then off to romantic online novels... Don't get me wrong but she also collects pocket books on romance. So maybe it depends on some people who really loves reading online cuz you said it, for practicality sake.

Hmmm, I must say that I dislike reading online. Its just not the same as reading the book in your hands. Besides, its not good to stare at the computer screen for too long therefore I do not practice reading online. I prefer to go to a library or rent a book and read it at home.

I hate reading reports on line let alone a book. If I am going to read a novel, tehn it will be in bed or curled up in a comfy chair. When reading lengthy reports from the computer, I print them off as I need to have them on paper.

Reading is always a very personal and divine experience for me.I love my books. I like to read only the books that I could smell, feel, lend, borrow, move from shelf to shelf, give away or sell. Do you think that I am able to do all these things I fancy with the so called E Books?

Never did adjust to reading e-book, I love a page turner in my hands...can't take the ebook with you on a day out at the beach, or whiel travelling. So I rather read the actual book then read it online. Only time I would really read online is if I want to get an idea of the book before I buy it

No!I don't like to read books or novels online.I don't have patience to stare at the computer screen for a long time.Instead,I like to take printouts and read it at the leisure time. That will be good for our eyesight and gives comfort of reading too.I suggest everybody to follow this.
