do you have confused in english translations?
many foreign voisitors in chinese cities are often confusing by translations of signs in public places
or menus in restaurants
have you seen any of those confusing english translations yourself/
and have you made any funny miistakes yourself when you speak english?
have you seen any misunderstanding caused by the wrong use of words?
ctually, i talked about this with my chinese friend only this mornig
chinese people should not feel bad if they sometimes get words wrong in english
although a
english is not the native language of china
so mistakes was common that called chinglish
buy some were so funny and dumb
once i went to a restaurant the menu just make me laugh if yougo around the stret
chinglish was everywhere
found them by urgent yourself
although mistake might raise a smell
the intended meaning is clear and no harm is done
inthe uk.
many people speak terrible english and people no longer care
and for sure
if we had to translate signs into chinese
we should do it so badly
you would ll have fits of giggles
i do find there are so many chinese english in some tour resort
but i think we can tour resort
but i think we can understand the real meaning because we are all chinese we have the same thinking style
for foreigner maybe they only can guess the true meaning
so i think i think if the english is used in some represented places such as hotel
tour resort
railway station and so many other public places
we should used native english in order not to conuse the foreigners to guess the rue meanings that we want to tell them
