You know it is really a personal decision. I am a total donor, I believe that after I am gone my soul will be the only thing I need and that if my parts can be used to help someone else live a healthier life than I am glad to assist. They can use so many things that you would not even think of. But I know there are some religions or beliefs that would not think this was appropriate. So, really it is just a personal choice for you to make. When you go to renew your license they ask also and can put it on your license if you want to be a donor.

I am a card carrying, hard core supporter of organ donors. If the day should come that my life is not able to be saved, then I feel that it is only right that I give something from myself in order to save the life of someone else.
I will not need those organs where I am going, be it heaven, hell or back to Earth to do it again until I get it right. But there may be a child or a parent or any number of others who will be saved, given the gift of sight or life, by my donation and my gift to them.
I understand that it feels weird, as it means we must face the issue of our own mortality. However, think of the baby you may some day save, and it won't feel or sound so weird anymore.
