I've had many scars--both the visible and invisible ones. The visible ones, I got them from being overly enthusiastic when playing games and trying outrageous stunts. They heal pretty quickly, usually about just a few days. The invisibles ones, I got from the people I loved and people who loved me (or I thought they did). If you'd try looking at my heart, it's already riddled with scars of the hurts of the past. These kind of scars are they ones that take considerable time to heal and would feel painful once you remember the past. I've had six break-ups in the past. I must admit, each of them were really painful experiences and left deep wounds in my heart. Now, I'm trying to find someone who can mend it back for me and keep it from bleeding over and over again.

I agree with you. I don't like looking at my scars, though. It's just a constant reminder of how I could of handled things better. People see the scars on my arm and immediately cast their judgmental eyes on me. No one can truly know what you've been through. All of my happened because of school.

My scars all have very painful stories behind them. I wouldn't get rid of them, because they are a part of me and who I was, but I prefer to look at my tattoos! They symbolise freedom and independence to me, scars tend to signify misery.
