Are you a clock watcher?

I used to work in an office. I was always so busy every day, that the time flew by and before I knew it it was time to go home. Some co-workers did not have as much work to do. It seemed their job was to watch the clock. Since they did not have a lot of work to do, time seemed to drag on for them. Are you a clock watcher or does time fly by to quickly for you?

It depends on the job. In my usual job, I am so busy that the time goes fast and I often end up leaving 5 or 10 minutes late but I do know people who will not begin a new task if there are only 15minutes to go. However, I've done a few extra days in another job and its so boring that the hours really drag.

I love to be busy because the time does go by so fast. If I have a huge project to do, and am in a time crunch, it drives me crazy to hear the clock watcher tell me how slow time is moving and they are bored. I used to offer to give them work to do, if they had nothing to keep them busy. lol They always turned me down. I have been on the other end too and that is a lot worse. I would rather be stressed out with too much work than be bored from not enough work.
