silver or gold?

When I was younger, I used to love gold jewelries. But now, I've switched to using silver pieces. I find them more in fashion these days. They're also more practical since gold is priced higher. So it's very hard should you lose one to snatchers or out of carelessness.
So, my question is which do you prefer...silver or gold jewelries? Why?

i also prefer silver jewellery because it is in fashion and easily affordable and moreover i don't have to be very concious about keeping my silver jewellery i can keep it any where without having any fear.

I agree with you, there's less worries with silver jewelries as compared to gold. But recently, I thought that I lost my fave silver ring, it really made me feel very bad. Luckily, I found it. So, take it from me, silver or not, jewelries are somehow connected to us, so try not to lose any of them. I don't want you to feel the way I did.

I am the same way. When I was younger, I loved gold. All I would wear was gold. I thought that silver jewelry was ugly. But now, I love my silver jewelry and that is all I wear. I prefer it over gold because I think it looks nicer on me and not to mention silver is cheaper than gold..even though I do love white gold (which is silver in color so that is why I like it). So yeah, I have a 1 carat diamond ring that my husband bought me for our 2nd wedding anniversary and I hardly ever wear it because it is on a gold band. Once in a great while I will wear it, but basically I am keeping it, in order to give to my daughter when she gets older.

Nice to know someone shares the same opinion...kinda reflects how times change right? So happy for you, that you have a priced jewelry, not everybody's blessed with the same, so hope you get your wish to be able to hand it down to your daughter when the time comes. Thanks for sharing!!

me too,when im young i like gold jewelry because it shines when the sun strikes it...but now i like silver jewelry because it is more fashionable and you can pair it in any dress you wear and it is less attention to the snatchers,so i prefer to use it than the gold jewelry and it is less expensive.
