Are foreigners children really smarter than non-foreigners children?

I read in a recent poll a few days ago that foreigners children seem to work harder than others. Why is that? Is it because they have more motivation to do better because they are the first generation? Please Comment.

Can you please clarify your question? Your heading compares level of smartness between foreigner vs. non-foreigner children. But in your text, you're saying something about being the first generation.

What I mean is that "Are foreigners children smarter since they are the first generation americans and non foreigners children are not first generation americans". Does that clarify it? If it doesn't I am sorry.

now i get your point. i think though, that since education is a great equalizer, at the end of the day, a true-blue american would perform as much as first generation american would. it would depend on the motivation to succeed.

For me i think not. It depends on the childs invironment... that affects one's person. Where he live, who sorround him and other factors that that develops a person to be smarter. Therefore, i would say that, it in the it is the internal and external factors that affects a child to become smart whatever is your place is your place in the society...
