Can you see the good of a bad person?

"Do you know profiling?" I can't forget this question. I was applying to a company, which acquired me a year ago. The interviewer who I did not know at all, I just met her during the interviews, suddenly asked me this question. Profiling is your ability to assess a person by just looking at him/her. I can say that I am good at it, but I'm not saying that I am not making some mistakes in profiling people. I have this ability to see things that others are not seeing towards a certain person. There are times that others will very much like a person but for me he is not okay. There are also time that a certain person is not okay to others but for me he is cool. Seeing the goodness of one's heart especially if the image that he is portraying in not that good is very challenging. However if a person failed to show this goodness, and everything he is doing is against to the law of man, to give love and respect, I am sorry I will not be that easy to please. Now, may I turn my question to you, do you know how to assess people?

There is a very old saying LOVE IS BLIND, YOU ARE MINE, DARK OR FAIR, I DON'T MIND. In other words, it just means to say that if you love someone dearly, you do not see the negative points in that person, and even if a person has one, it appears in a positive manner. But, in my opinion, one should have the ability to truly assess someone, irrespective of his personal relationship or likeness towards him/her. Well, to some extent, I can say I have the ability to assess people truly, or may be its just the way I feel.

I wouldnt say that i look for the good in people if im honest i always tend to look for the bad as its just something i have always done when i fisrt meet some1 however when i have got to know the person i always try and see the good in them.

Some people I have and had relationships whether it be family or friends have chosen the wrong path in life. Despite though all there shortcomings, mistakes and negative characteristics and flaws, they still have a good heart and their intentions are in the right place. Some people I think lose their way in life and it is hard for them to return to the straight and narrow path, however that doesn't make them a bad person. So I would say that I can see teh good in bad people and the bad in good people, because face it we all have many different masks that we wear.
