What would you do with 1 million dollars?

If I won $1,000,000 I would do so much, or at least in my head I would. First I would give my parents, and siblings some money, a nice significant amount that they could use. Next I would by a house, nothing too crazy or large but a nice house that one day I could live with my family. Then of course a little shopping, but again in moderation, nothing crazy at all. Lastly I would invest some of the money or remaining amount into some real estate.

First, I would go to Canada with that money. Haha. Second, I'd try to pay off all of my debts.

Hi DJscooby, That's a serious question - a million dollars is starting to get into the realm of being useful. If I won a million dollars (which I guess is about equivalent to being struck by lightning on a sunny day) then here's what I would do within a couple of days: 1. I'd pay off each of my siblings house mortgages for them. 2. I'd give half a million to my dear old parents to help them enjoy their life instead of struggling to pay the bills like most elderly people are forced to do. 3. I'd invest anything that was left over to provide me with a substistence income sufficient to allow me to properly research and complete my Reactionless Inertial Drive and Spacetime Rectifier. Then I'd arrange for free disclosure of the technologies for the benefit of all peoples, providing both a harmless & limitless energy source devoid of geographic or resource constraints, and a propulsion mechanism free of the need for mass depletion or environmental traction of an kind. And then I'd make a few trips to the Moon and maybe Mars, to scope out the feasibility of colonizing one or both of them, and commence planning for more extensive forays across the Solar System.

Ok here, that would be £500,000 so maybe I'd invest some of it in property and save the rest in a high interest account to grow it and live off the interest.

Winning a million dollars would be great! its sad that the world today revolves around money! I would pay off a few debts, pay off my moms mortgage, buy a car for me and the boyfriend, but a down payment on a house, take a well need vacation and invest! And get married and start my family! I would love to open my own day care or animal shelter! A million doesnt seem like alot after all the ideas I have but you can do it all right and set yourself and those you love up lovely!

First I would try to get my sister to move here and be closer. I would invest some and travel a little.

well i dont know exactly how much a million dollars is lol but i know what i would do with a million pounds. I would firstly buy a plot of land and build a big house for me and my children with a bungalow on the back for my mother to live in, it would have a pool and all mod cons too. I dont think that i would be really lavish on anything else tho t be honest i already have a nice car i would prob buy a whole new wardbrobe for us all and trat the kids to loaaaaaaaads of nice toys and anything they wanted.

If I had a million dollars I would buy a Xbox 360 and a Wii then I would give my fiance's mom some money as we live with her, and then I would save the rest for our wedding. Not much to do with it, other then maybe saving a bit more for a rainy day or for something else we might want or need. Welcome to Mylot, Have a Great day.

wow, a million dollars, that would be so nice...first of all i would open 3 accounts, 1 for each of our kids...they would not be able to touch it till they turned 25, that way maybe they wouldnt go crazy and waste it. i would also buy a nice house, not a mansion but a comfortable house that i could spend the rest of my time in. also would get a little vacation house by the beach...i would also pay off any and all bills that my parents and my gf parents have so that way they wouldnt have to worry about bills. not sure about the rest but would put some back to save for later on when we are older...lol
