Hello MyLotters!
I have owned an Xbox 360 for almost two years, and the other day it began to freeze while I was in game. Three days ago, I began to play, and it froze, like it had before. This time, when I tried to restart it, I cam upon the infamous red ring of death. Luckily, Microsoft has extended the RRoD warranty to three years, so I'm covered, but I was still pretty sad.
Has anyone else here suffered the red ring of death fate? If so, how long had you had your 360?

Microsoft's stubborn unwillingness or inability to fix the red ring problem is what is keeping me from buying a 360. On multiple occasions I've really considered it, only to later back off because I expect that, at the price I'm paying, that I should get a bug-free system. I'm aggravated at the idea that we're still dealing with atrocious hardware issues this late in the console game. Such a poor level of quality should be completely unacceptable. It makes me feel like we're getting shafted royally.
