For me, Green Mile is a great movie. Just like Shawshank Redemption, it's one of Stephen King's non-horror creations. The concept is original. Gentle giant with good powers, a righteous hmm... I don't know what you call Edgecomb's job (as opposed to Percy), and a setting that we seldom see. The part where Percy screws up with the execution freaked my out. Poor guy. Also, it was sort of touching and sad to witness Paul's story and how Coffey affected his entire life.

I loved this movie. It's a story you can return to again and again. From the mind of Stephen King. It's poignant and emotional. Yet keeps your interest. Tom Hanks is awesome and you can see why he is one of the best actors out there. And the character John Coffee is someone you feel for and are amazed by. I recommend it to everyone as a must see movie!
