2 or more best responses

I had asked about unresolved discussions...and got a few responses...now as i was going through them...i noticed that we get to choose only one response as the best....could there not be 2-3 very good responses that also needs to be marked best....have u come across a discussion where u wanted to choose 2-3 best resopnses...how do u then judge the BEST Response...if both the responses have GOOD QUALITY...GOOD INFO..n what not THE BEST...how do u go about it then ?

I agree you should be able to pick more than one best response,cause it can be a very hard decision,and I have had a couple discussions where I had trouble picking a best response,but I went through and counted how many lines each response was,and the longer response got the best response,that was the only way I could figure out to do it.

Oh well thats a nice way to choose i should say thank you....well you gave me an idea cause the one spent a longer time writing those lines should really be commended....but then couldnt it be so ...that it really shouldnt be the number of lines we write but then the real quality of it..it still is confusing ...but i guess as long as we can get to just choose one we do so... ;) :) happy mylotting

maybe becoz of the truest sense of being the best...i mean if your the best you are awesomely outstanding among the rest not equal to anyone else....just a thought though...

It becomes really difficult to choose best response, if more than one response fall in that category. I check the relevance, quality of language and style of narration, while selecting the best response. I also wish that we may be allowed to choose more than one best response. I started a similar discussion on this subject.

Yes, this type of situation will come to every one, When you get the more than 1 responses as good, you suppose to select the Best among the Good Responses..
I know its very heard to select the Best among those Good responses, because sometimes, you can find more than 1 Best responses also for your discussions..
When i come across this type of situations, i used to mark the best responses, for the members those who is the newest members among them, to encourage them, i used to mark them as the best response. (This will give them the boost to improve their quality postings in mylot)
This "tric" also i have learned from our senior member of the mylot..
We can learn lots of things by go through the senior members discussions and the responses.
