How important is college?

In todays day and age, how important is it to get a college education? For a while it seemed the only way to get a good paying job was via college, but now there are so many different streets to go down to make money. What do you think about college degrees? Are they worth all the time and effort?

education is very important, you can't get a decent a high paying job if you are undergrad.,so better finish it.,there are lots of jobs that requires to have a college diploma.,believe me.,have a nice day ahead! see you around!

i agree education is very important, however i disagree that you have to have one to get a high paying job. maybe if you want to get one in a big coorportation or something, but there are so many other opportunities avaliable to everyone in this day and day

it think it is important. yet, education is the only treasure that nobody can take out from you. Thus, the important of college is essential. Having finished your college education is seem a great accomplishment from you. Not only of your self but also of youa it your family. Having gone to college you can choose a variety of feild and finding job opportunities are not limited.

But do you think its worth 4 years and thousands and thousands of dollars? I mean in those four years you can get start working and building a family and net worth. It would be easy to make over 100,000 in those 4 years. instead after 4 years all you have is a piece of paper and debt!!

It is becoming harder and harder to advance without education.You need at least some level of vocational of college education to make a good life for yourself. Over your lifetime, a college degree will really pay off! Don't sell yourself short.

Yeah, right now it seems like a waste of time but education goes a long way in life. With a college degree more doors are opened for you, more oppurtunites, more experiences. You can spend your life on the internet, trying to make money or actually go out there, get a much better education than just high school and experience the world as it is and help to make it better.

Yeah...I still agree that college education still worth while. Although, it has been a fact that we can earn a lot of money without much attaining higher education especially college education but for the fact that the learning's that we get in college degree are priceless since it does not only give us money but as well integrity that make us an asset in the society which is priceless to buy.
