thunderstorm - How do I overcome my fear of thunderstorms? fear of thunderstorms???

I have been scared of them ever since I was little, and I know what caused it: I was 5, and a HUGE lightning bolt struck a lamp post by a tree in front of our house, and it caught on fire. So, how do overcome it? Regards

hi dear .thunder storms are dangerous. if you really go deeply lightening strikes earth every day. millions of volts of strong current passes through every strike. and how many strikes in a day?thousands of them!!at one point or the other. but nature has its own ways of protection and destruction.. high rise buildings are constructed with additional safeguards so that the building is not affected and the current is earthed.one has to cautious but you dont know when and where it will strike.

So the science has not gone this far that we could easily know that when and where this thunderstorm will occur. hmmmm
