I wish more people would read this with a open mind, instead of this is just another attack one my guy. There is some real problems with Obama's character. Obama lacks the judgment needed to be the President of the most powerful country in the world. The Presidency is no laughing matter. The lack of judgment that Obama brings to the table has dire consequences.

But they are turning it into a laughing matter by taking Obama this seriously. And if he gets in, it will be no laughing matter. It will be scary.

I am not an Obama fan although I am an African American Female but let me say that what I find interesting is that we have elected all kinds of White males for President even one who has unspeakable wrongs against Humanity and we are debating this man based on whose Church he attended. First let me say that Rev Wright is not Anti-American, he is talking about an America that most do not experience. I have been discriminated against just because I am black and it does make me angry--so if you have not experienced this America then you can't understand what he is talking about. The Presidency has nothing to do with what your Religion is, it is about that no matter what your Religion is you forgo your personal feelings and thoughts for the good of the country. I served in the military and am a Combat Veteran--do you think my Religious belief or lack of Religious belief stopped me from protecting my Country? No. Let's get over this thing. Again I say I am no a fan of Obama, mainly because I like Hillary but we have definately hired to the highest office others who are far more undeserving then Obama.

You are right. We have elected all kinds of white males for President even one who has done unspeakable wrongs against humanity. I will never understand how people can overlook it like it was nothing. I suppose it is a sign of the times. As for Obama, he did not just attend that church, he was a member for 20 years. He had that hate message inbedded in him for a long time. It is a part of who he is. He was his mentor, too. Considering that Rev. Wright has no problem saying G D America, I would say he is anti-America. I have been discriminated against just because I am white so I have experienced what you are talking about in the reverse. My grandmother was a slave from the time she was 4 years old until she ran away at age 16. My husband we beaten by two black men because they thought he was white. My husband is African just like those two men were but he looks white. A young black woman came to my husband's aid and told him that they beat him up because they thought he was white or it would have never happened. My husband is not from this area and he walked on a street that is only for blacks...and blacks who look black. So as a white person I am feeling discrimination, too. My uncle was tied to a tree and set on fire because he was white. My aunt was stabbed in the eye because she was white. I could go on. So discrimination is rampant for whites, too. I would love to vote for a minority president, but Obama is not the one. And I feel that he is using Hillary.

I have to agree with you that Obama is not the one to vote for as I am a Hillary fan, but I do not agree that Rev Wright is "Anti-American" he is not talking about all of America he is only talking about the America that was ok with the Murdering of his people and who still view blacks as inferior. Yes, I agree that you have had some terrible things done to your family, but we are only talking about one family...not a whole people. The acts of violence against you is unforgiveable and I am sure hurtful to you and your family, but it is even a bigger atrocity when it is done against an entire people...and not even those who have perpitrated any crime. I think that Obama does, in part, agree with Rev Wright because I am sure he has...like your husband suffered many injustices because he is bi-racial. I think the difference is that he is not still angry about it where Rev Wright is. If you actually listened to that whole speech where Rev Wright said, "G...America" you will see what he is talking about. You can't just listen to snippits and make judgements on a person...that is a media ploy. I am not here to defend Obama or Wright, but I want to be fair to them both. Again he is not my choice of candidate, but given the history he might just surprise us all.
