I'm going to have a CET-6 exam one hour later, which is a very popular English exam here in China.
This is exam was once required for all Chinese university students, if you can't pass that exam you won't be able to graduate with a degree. Now situation changed, no more requirement, but when you go to job market you'll find this kind of certificate very important.
Language exams are very important here in China.
Here in China as far as i know we have CET-4 and CET-6, English tests for all university students.
For specific language majors, there're also exams designed to test their language ability. For example, JLPT, a test for japanese majors.
So i want to know what kind of language test you have in your countries.
Please share that with me.
:-)

I do know some namely TOEFL, TSE and IELTS
Among the 3 examinations, I did take up IELTS last April 5, 2008 and by God's grace I did pass it and even got a higher score than I had expected. Just keep on using the English language wherever you are and read and read and read... only through constant practice, your English language skills will improve immensely. God bless you on your exam and I do hope you'll pass.
