All Pro defensive tackle Tommie Harris signed a 4 year 40 million dollar extension. This signing makes him the highest paid defensive tackle in the league. The Bears locked up one of the league's rising starts at the position. Harris had 8 sacks and 2 forced fumbles in 2007 despite being injured the whole year.
