Do you keep Notification on of your friends in mylot ??

When i joined mylot immediately i requested a mylotter for friend request and she accepted my friend request .I put notification on for her then i used to receive notification whenever she used to do any activity in mylot.I always used to look into that just to see what discussion she has started even what discussion she has responded to in mylot. Later afetr ten days i had around 50 friends then i was not able to see all discussions started my them and every time huge mail in my inbox. Then i put notification of some of my friends off so that i can have less number of mails in my mail box and i used to respond to their discussions. Another thing what i noticed here is that myfriends rarely do respond to my discussins then also i am getting response from other mylotters.I felt bad that time but i didn't mind that why my friends do not responded to my discussion where as i am responding to them all the time. I started responding to the discussion without caring that who has started this discussion and i do respond to them. Now my friends are also responding to my discussion as well. Have you come across this situation ? Please share your response!!
