Making a website!

As a personal project, i would advise you ask yourself the question and not others. There are loads of topics that have high volumes of interest and so it makes sense to create the site about something you know, otherwise the content is going to be rather sparse. Secondly bear in mind that there are already loads of long-standing communities catering for most conceivable topics, so be prepared to put in a lot of time and effort to offer the best content. Also don't expect to suddenly switch on and have 1-10k users. That kind or user-base grows over time. Most of this is word of mouth, so you want your initial impression to be the best it can be. When you say 1-10k users daily, what is it that you expect those users to be doing? Just viewing the site will be a bit dour. Playing games, chatting, reading, writing, listening etc ... you will need lots of different content types to attract and keep that volume of users. Are you going to target a particular audience and aim the content at them, or vice versa pick a content area and aim it at users with that interest? A project like this should be well thought out (but still fun). I've worked on many sites over the years and its always good to enjoy what you do, but you need to be adequately prepared. If I were you, I would make a website about what I know best and interest me a lot. I wouldn't put a site that everyone talks about but I do not have interest or the idea what to put. I would like to put something I'm expert with where I can be really reliable. Because if it really interest you, you'll never get bored and never get tired of updating it. You'll have a driving force to maintain your site. Websites are easy to make but the maintaining part is the tough one. So you really have to think hard and consider the main concept of your site. Personally, I really like music. I don't know if you'll gain 1000-10,000 users daily by music alone. I also like videos so you can combine the two. What about music videos? that's cool. i think that a site with jokes is a really good one. maybe you can put some funny pictures/power point shows/videos from youtube. people like funny things. they like laughing at other people and they like reading jokes. i think that if you put daily a new funny video/picture/joke it would be a succes. good luck with your web site. :D

i couple days ago started blog about learning people to do some tricks, magic or card's ... i doesnt know a lot of this tricks but i posses alot of books so i write them everyday and put them online ... maybe you posses some great books from which you can also write your favorite and intresting thing every day

I would say it totally depends on what u r good at. if u can spend a long time on the internet to collect info. u can start anything. but u want daily happenings then that would be something of ur interest, to write wht hapnd in ur life, then something abt world news would what is happening to someone or in general. u got to think abt the traffic also. if u want many ppl then u got to write abt something tht is current everyday. u must have a great team of friends who would come and visit ur site everyday. so all depends on what u want
