How Long Do You Wait To Mark A "Best Response"?

When you have responses to a discussion that you started, how long do you wait until you pick your best response? One, two, seven days later? Do you even pick a best response? I give it a minimum of 4 days before I chose. I am curious to see what the average is.

honestly i wait for 3-4 days till the activity on the topic..then i decide .
