I didnt see my mother for more than 2 years

I didnt see my mother for more than 2 years becouse I left my country Iraq for more than 2 years, I just hear her voice in phone, I feel that I am lost on this world cos I love her so much but I must put my wife and kids in a safty place, I cant pring her with me for some reasons, I hope I can go back to my country and see her and sleep between her hands as I was a kid.
what u feel when u dont see ur mother for long time and how u can manage the homesickness for her?

alkurishy I have never been in your situation so I can only sympathize with you. I spent as much time with my mom as I could and was lucky to be close to her most of the time. allI can say is to pray and talk to her on the phone, as you must thinkof
your wife and kids first. some day soon I hope you can be reunited with your mom, and that our us soldiers can come home to their moms and the war will be over. So many people have been hurt in this and it just seems to go on and on. I will pray for you and yours and your mom and hope soon you can be reunited.

I can see that you love your mother very much. It is very difficult when we have to make a choice between members of our families. I too hope that things in Iraq will settle down soon so that all those that had to leave can go back soon if they want too. I pray that she will be kept safe during all the turmoil going on there.

Thank u for ur golden words, all people are suffring from what happen in Iraq, the iraqian people and the USA people I am sure there are alot of US army members have not seen thier mother for more than me.
I hope and I pray all the time to my country to get it's safe again and we cna go back to see our big families, and pray to keep my mother and my sisters and brothers a way from all what happen, Ameen.

good day... I haven't gone that long away from my mom but I'm leaving for Singapore next month and that's the first time I'll be away from her. Honestly, I'll miss her because she's all I have and I still don't know how to cope when that time comes. I don't want to go but you know the saying in search for greener pastures. I'll miss her but I'll find ways to connect with her like chatting with video cam and talk to her as frequently as I can.

I can relate. I haven't seen my mom for 18 years but I'm used to right know. She's been working in US and planning to go home next year and I hope so she can made it this time.

hi, iraq must be safe now as alot of people are going back there.. well most parts are except for baghdad more than likely. what part are you from? i know alot of people who have come to this country and miss there parents very much but one day they will be able to be reunited with there family, good luck to you

I am rom Baghdad dear and that is the problem and I am preparing my self for going back there and see my mother I miss her so much, but I have to be sure its safe enogh for get me and my family kids and wife to go back there.

hi, alkurishy, full understand your feeling. i think everyone must miss his/her mom after he/she leaves from her mom. try to call her when you have time. and do your best to make conditions so that you can pick her up one day. actually, mom also wants to stay with their children, right?

I am calling her from time to time and I always keep in tuch with her, but you know somthing mom have a lot of love you never will find one love you as she do.
