Grocery store prices!!!

Is it me, or are the prices of everyday items rather quickly creeping ever higher??? Last week I bough a gal. of milk at a drug store for $2.99. This week (same store) I bought another, and (OMG) it was $3.19. THATS .20 CENTS IN A MATTER OF A FEW DAYS!!! What's goin' on here? MY family which consists of 2 is having a very difficult time putting food on the table. (and I won't discuss GAS PRICES HERE) So, tell me what are YOU doing to stretch that money a little farther??? Just wondering.......

It is crazy how prices are going up. Milk here where I live costs $3.89 plus tax. It's awful how things are going right now. What I am trying to do is buy as much things as possible from the $.99. They sell eggs there and some other stuff so I'm thinking of going over there to save at least a few dollars.
